Somerset Plantation

Thanks for the info on the book which I have read three times but unfortunately my peoples name is related to owners that were not part of this plantation. There are several Summerset/Summersett in the census, particularly J.C. and J. H. Summersett,that lived in Columbus, NC. Have no way of knowing if either fathered a half-white son by a slave named Nancy. Does anyone have slave records of these two men?
