Nickelberrys in Cass County TX

Hi, my name is Don Johnson and I'm originally from Linden (Cass County) Texas and I'm a direct Nickelberry descendant. My Grandmother was a Nickelberry. Josie Nickelberry Johnson. Her Father was Robert (Bob) Nickelberry, brother of Tip ( I saw a reference to Tip in an earlier part of this string). From the best I have been able to determine, the cass county Nickelberry's originated from Crockett Nickelberry (father of Bob and Tip and they had other brothers and sisters that I have not been able to find much about yet). From a 1910 census statement, my best guess is that Crockett was born in the 1830's range, not sure where or how he got to Cass county. If this link is still active, would welcome other questions or info about the Nickelberrys. I currently live in Atlanta GA and my email is listed above. Thanks, Don.
