Kisa clan
Posted by Nolene Davidson <nolene53@hotmail.com> on Fri, 26 Nov 2004, in response to family history, posted by muhammad abdullah on Mon, 08 Nov 2004
Dear Muhammad Abdullah:Thanks for your help. Our history is just what I wrote - Prince Hunga kisa sent his two sons and a daughter to Tobago in 1868 in response to the labor shortage after emancipation. They are Slaney, Prescod and Jane (not their original names). Slaney became a Davidson and Jane married a Denoon. Prince Huga Kisa was from the Timne people. The Davidson's and the Denoons (black)have had governing positions in Tobago and also in Trinidad since.
