The GOODWIN families of AL/GA
Posted by Angela Radziszewski <AngieHere4U2@aol.com> on Sun, 01 Aug 2004
Researching my 3rd great grandfather Russell Goodwin b: Sept 1849/GA; and his wife Lizzett Coleman b: abt May 1850/FL. They had the following children: Edmon, Maryland Sr., Jim, Adeline, Russell Jr, Archie, Julia, Josh, Ardenia, Ellis and Coleman. As I haven't found out exactly where in Georgia he was from. My first accounts of him are in the following census for Alabama;1880/AL/Union Springs/ED# 26/Bullokc Co/AL
1900/Union Springs/Bullock Co/AL/ED#29/Precinct#3
1910/Union Springs/Bullock Co/AL/ED#31/Precinct#3
1920/Union Springs/Bullock Co/AL/ED#3/Precinct#3
Haven't been able to locate his father-William Goodwin. He also had a brother-Jim Goodwin, this is all I know about of this family. So if there's anyone else doing Goodwin Family research for either Georgia or Alabama. Would love to see if anyone has connections to this family. As I heard there's a many a Goodwins out there.
Surnames: Goodwin/Coleman/Richardson/Lee/Feagin/Baldwin
