Oliver Epps who should have been born in the early 1800's I believe is the father of Silas Epps(whom is black and German)...said to be so fair skinned that he looked white maybe (melungeon). I am the Great Grand Daughter of Silas, my grandfather was one of his twin sons Howard and Edward Epps. Which whom are both deceased. Edward was my grandfather they were born on January 15th 1923. I don't know much about the Epps' not but few are still living from that era. I know that my grandfather had a sister named Lutenia or something I forget the exact name but there was an Harry, S.E. jr., Whittfield, oh a sister named Lena Bell...Most of the Older children were born by Delia or Della Epps, a woman believed to be half Indian and Black.I may not have all of the facts right but if someone could help me find my family history it would be great...
