trying to find my brother.

I have a brother out there somewhere in the Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina area. He would be around 30 now. I've never met him and i don't even know his name.His father's name is David Garfield Thomas. HIs mother might have been in the army at one time.(only a possibility)
If you would have any ideas on how or where i could look to find him, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
