Hampton/Hamden of Tennessee

I'm seeking imformation on Hampton/Hamden of Tennessee.My late grandfather was George Hampton,but I think he changed his last name from Hamden when he left Tennessee to move here to Ohio.His birth records state he was born in Benis,Tennesse.However I can't seem to find any imformation on Benis.He was George Sr. and his son,my father was George Jr.My grandfather was born Jan.28,1895.My father was born Jan.19,1919.If anyone can please give me any imformation on my grandfather,my father,or Benis,Tennessee I would appreciate it.Thank you,Karen e-mail is khamp9@msn.com
