Descendents of Smithridge, Louisiana

Again I am a descendent of the Smith's of Smithridge maybe called Chauvon or something like that now.

My Great,great,greatGrandfather was Benjamin Franklin Smith(Plantation) owner. He had relations with the mother of Ed Smith and Robert Smith. I hear that both these boys had 13 children of their own. Well, I think Robert had a son named James. James married Mearlin Champange and they had 2 children James Smith and Muriel Smith(Stewart)(Theriot). Muriel was my Grandmother(God Bless Her Soul) If you have any information of this family please contact me! Again thanks in advance!
