Deloris, I am not directly researching the Cordells but I do know that Haywood and Polly son Richard Henry married my great aunt Julia Ann Mills in Nash Co, NC on 28 Mar 1883. I do know some of their springs and know of at least one other Cordell researcher Mary Evans. I will share with both you and Jerome if you can locate him.
