THE ROUSE FAMILY FROM MOUNT PLEASANT/CHARLESTON, SC

Yes I'm trying to find out about my family's history, the Rouse family from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The Rouse, also Horry and German families if possible. I think Rouse was a French slave owner, but I'm not sure. I live in downtown Charleston.
