James Cousar is from Charlotte, NC. He has a sister, Peggy, email P28SUN@aol.com. Also, he has a brother, Julius. I don't have his email. Both of James siblings resides in Charlotte, NC.

We assigned to James A & Nelson Cousar each 237 acres of land commencing at the back line in the Vine(?) Woods and running S69 (W straight line to the back line in Black River(?). To Nelson Cousar the upper part including the dwelling houses, which part is valued at $300.00 more that the lower part is allotted to Thomas A. Cousar. We assigned to James A Cousar the following Negroes to wit - Lucy $600, Bella $475, Auston $400, Aaron $350, Jackson $700, Rose & child James $700, Billy &700, Biacy(?) $550, Nancy $450, Ceasar $350, Case $500, Delia & child Henry $700, Cynia(?) $250, Isaac $700, Jerry $250 and Lunnon $255 792.0

We assign to Nelson Cousar the following Negroes to wit - Alick $700, Anna & child Clarissa $700, Eugenia $275, Madison $525, George $300, Adelina & child Selena $350, Jake $550, Peter $100, Murria & child David $700, Charity $275, Prince $700, Jenny $650, Sarah $475, Satina/Satira $560, James $400 and Ellen $275.
