another one of us....!!!!

I have family in Baltimore,MD also. Actually, it is my uncle Woodrow Featherstone who was one of the first sons of my deceased grandfather Golather Cousar. Woodrow moved to Baltimore after living in the Carolina's in 1970's. I briefly spoke to him over the phone where he explained some of our history. My grandfather didn't marry his mother but did eventually marry my grandmother Helen Ruth Mackey Cousar. From the both of them I have two aunts, Catherine Cousar and Charlene Cousar Moore. My father has the same name as my grandfather with the exception of his middle name. My grandfather did however, have other children that we, for quite some time, have known of. I have met at least 11 aunts my uncle Woodrow Featherstone, (who has asked me to call him Uncle Woody) and there is another son besides my father that I have not met. ( he doesn't want to admit kinsmanship to my grandfather) I do know the names of my other aunts but not really their last names so I guess I won't list them. sorry. It is interesting that you responded to a posting where the grandfather married a Mackey wife. Sounds a lot like my family. Actually, I do believe that my grandmother Helen R. Mackey Cousar and her sister married brothers or cousins. I will ask and get back later. I am experiencing a great feeling inside my bosom right now by just knowing that there are more of us in this world... it is a small world after while!Starcia Cousar
