Appreciation

Although I am not currently searching for my ancestors or anyone else, I am an avid follower of this site, as well as several other sites geared towards Blacks and other People of Color. I am posting to express my appreciation to whites who have given their time and support to these types of genealogy sites. Often, we forget how important it is to receive your help, but the reality is that without it, few Blacks would be sucessful in any of their searches, as much of the imformation must be found in the diaries and bibles of the slave owner's descendants. Of course, it goes without saying that many of you had no ancestors involved in slavery. Your help is just as important, and just as appreciated.
