Hi, am a Texas history school teacher who recently inherited some pistols that were given to a widow Emma Majors Bivens/Bevins by a Jesse James. Her second husband was David M. Bivins/Bevins of the Kansas City area. She lived from 1847-1895 approx. Her first husband was a civil war veteran killed in the civil war. A young Jesse James gave them to the widow for self protection. David M Bivens/Bevens was a very prominent land owner in Missouri.I am looking for info on her the Bivens Family is quite prominent in the times 713-466-7228 Rob Zimmerman
