Stoneham Family

Posted by Bill Stoneham <bill.stoneham@serco.com> on Sat, 23 Aug 2003, in response to stoneham family, posted by bellthompson on Wed, 04 Jun 2003

Hi

Found your site and was interested to know if your research has extended to England. I live in a place called maidstone some 40 miles to thye East of London. I live in a county called Kent and my research suggests that the name 'Stoneham' originates from a village called Southfleet, near Gravesend. Gravesend is a small town on the Thames about 25 miles from London.

Best wishes

Bill Stoneham
