good afternoon,my grandfather was h.j.robinson[roberson]he said he was born 9-26-1900 in either texas or arkansas.his parents were robert robinson and viney williams.my grandfather said his mother viney williams was the daughter of belle williams.they said she was called ' the big house cook'.i said numerous time grandadaddy where did your mother come from and who was her father?he said:" i don't know where mama came from".mama looked like any white woman.white men was jealous of papa." i said :why" he daid: " papa was jet black"!my great grandmother viney williams married lee hairston[harlston]and they had two more children picoya and d.dl,hairston[harlston]]who is the only surviving child and he lives in texarkana,texas.have you checked the 1880 census?as well as the 1870 census?then check the 1867 voter registration records of the males?muhammad abdullah-p.o.box 338-compton,ca.90223Display message for printing | Print Entire Thread
