Albert McClure 1861 or 1863

I am helping my great uncle locate some history. His grandfathers name Was Albert McClure, lived in South Carolina, he had a son by the name of John Wesley McClure, who later moved to North Carolina, who had a son name Lonnie J. McClure. Albert McClure died at the age of 105. John McClure was in the 5th Company listed as private, his number was 4772397, he was discharged 12/10/18; received a leter from the president in 1954. Can you help me with this??Responses
