It was so sad to hear about Dick, I had no idea he was so sick. I emailed with him all the time and he never said a word. I remember the fun we used to have when his wife Judy was so ill. We were trying cheer him up but most of the time he ended up making us laugh.
He is at home now with Judy again which I know makes him happy. He missed her so much. Rest in peace Dick, I am going to miss you.

Goodbye and farewell, my wonderful friend.
It's amazing how we became such close friends during our hosting training with Carol. She dubbed us “Baby Eagle 1 (me)” and “Baby Eagle 2 (you)”. When we finally completed our training, we hosted together until your beloved Judy became ill and you chose to drop hosting so you could devote all your attention to Judy. I have so many thank yous for you....thank you for being a friend in the truest sense of the word. Thank you for helping me reconcile with my family after many wasted years of estrangement (you were the main instigator there, and stayed with me in case I needed a hasty exit in case things didn't go as we hoped.) Thank you for being there for me in some of the darkest days of my life and convincing me that living life to the fullest is the only way to live. Thank you for teaching me to play darts and giving me my first set of darts and flights....remember the prize I got whenever I got a bulls' eye? It is so hard to say goodbye, but I know Judy was waiting for you with open arms. I'm just sorry that you had to suffer so. Goodbye and farewell, Baby Eagle 2, fly high and proud. Just never forget your pal, Baby Eagle 1. I know I'll never forget you.
