From The Top

As we run around collecting names and dates of our relatives, it is easy for ancestors to become faceless people. The real fun of Genealogy is to put "meat on the bones" of these people.

One of the best places to find out about what people valued and what they actually owned, is to look at their wills and the probate records. It is also a good place to find out who is living at a point in time. If you are having problems finding a relative, you might want to check out the wills of collateral people.

Happy Hunting :)
