Standard.net - Richard Turley, managing director of the Family History Department of the LDS Church and president of the Genealogical Society of Utah, announced that the Ellis Island records will be available to the public later this year on compact disk. He also announced that a complete extraction of the 1880 U.S. Census will be available on compact disk in early 2001.
