November Forum Flash

Submitted by GFS Judy@aol.com

The Genealogy Forum continues to move its files to the web in an effort to serve more tree climbers. GFSBrenda@aol.com and her team are pleading for extra help during this move. If you can spare her a few hours, Brenda would *love* to hear from you!

There is a new mailbox for people wishing to contact the Forum on general issues. Please tell people in your SIGS if they would like to contact us.

The For Starters rooms have all been renamed Beginners. If you have links or other emails that talk about room names, you will need to change the title so people can find it. There is a new SIG starting up soon called Beyond Beginners for people who are now in an intermediate stage of genealogy. GFS Pilgrim, GFS Cindy and GFS Loni will be debuting it soon on Saturday night - watch for the announcement!.

That's all folks -

Judy

Quotes for the month are just humorous and have no social redeeming value :) but I like them just the same:

Telling a teenager the facts of life is like giving a fish a bath.

-unknown quip

There are those whose train of thought never leave the depot.

-unknown quip

Veni, Vida, Visa
(we came, we saw, we went shopping)

-unknown quip

Disneyland is the greatest people trap ever built by a mouse.
