PAT ON THE BACK AWARD

Over the past few years the forum has grown by leaps and bounds in many directions. We have become one of the top two or three forums on the system and won the Members Choice Awards four consecutive times. Much of the credit for this incredible success goes out to the outstanding staff that volunteers their time week after week and month after month to bring you a high quality forum.

With the growth came problems with control of the huge staff. Two people have recently stepped forward to help us structure the forum and set up teams to work together to create an even better forum as we enter our second decade. For their work in creating the new team concept, I am proud to award this month's Pat on the Back Award to GFS Chuck and GFS Jeff.

GFS Chuck is one of the hardest working members of our forum. He has worked hard to create Team Canada, the model for the rest of the forum. Team Canada has expanded to chats on many of the provinces along with loyalists and a French speaking Quebec Chat. He was one of the first to have a newsletter and has worked hard to identify the web sites in the Canadian areas. His ability to work with others and bring out the best in them made him the obvious choice to create the team structure for the forum. Now as Chief of Staff in the forum he is overseeing the implementation.

GFS Jeff has been around the forum for several years and is one of the original hosts of our Beginners SIGs. In recent years Jeff has worked as the administrator of the night time SIGs. His job is to help get new SIGs up and running in the evening and to oversee the running of the existing ones. He worked hard along side of Chuck to bring together the new concept and is helping implement the new structure.

I want to congratulate both Chuck and Jeff on jobs well done.
