Fathers - Part I
My Dads
submitted by GFSEd@aol.comA special Father's Day story for special people. Many moons ago, a boy of 17 years discovered he was not who he was. His birth certificate they could not find. What went through this boys mind, and what a surprise to find he was adopted. Another thirty-eight years expires when he discovers, whom his Father was in him. What has happened! Everything is turning green, is this a dream? Then crystal clear it all became. The story of Moses revealed unfolding, You should honor both parents was his scolding. One gave you Life - One, their Love, family and home.
So, on this Father's Day for all of you who are adopted and all of you who have more then one Dad. Here is a Special Poem, Just For You.My Dads
My Dad is the very best
For the greatest gift of all - My Life
A heritage to be proud of
With His blessing from above
My Father is my Dad, too
With an equal grant - For Life
He raised me as his Son
In a home with Love, Family and Fun
The story of Moses taught me to Honor
Both my Dad and my Father
One gave me roots, the other wings
I could not of had one, without the other
Now with my extended families
I cross the Sea of Life
Knowing they are with me
Together, my Dads are the Best
Now they enjoy their eternal Rest
So, for this Father's Day
With my prayers of thanks
How could I go on - Without saying
I Love You, Dads

submitted by GFSJill@aol.comWhen I was a little girl my daddy was Funny, Athletic, Tough, Handy, and Ever Ready to kiss me goodnight.
When I was a teenager my dad was Fat, Absent-minded, Tardy, Hard to get along with, Exasperating, and Rather unfair.
Now that I'm middle-aged, my father is Far Away, Tender - Hearted, Eager to see his grandchildren, and Ready to talk at almost anytime.
Now, who has changed the most -- me, or my father?
