Congratulations to our newest GFS - GFS Laurie!

GFS Pro has accepted a research assistant position in the Surname Center with GFA Beth and GFS Taz and GFS Heather are madly reorganizing the Beginners Chat area to reflect the needs of newbies and give information to them. Speaking of information, GFS Linda is gathering a list of GF staff who might be interested in giving an on-line lecture. It doesn't have to be long - probably better if it wasn't - but needs to cover some aspect of genealogy that will inform or give people another way to look at a research problem. Drop her a line. GFS JohnF has offered to bring back an Expert list as well - this would be a list of people willing to answer questions on a topic - like GFS Jim on the War Between the States - right,Jimmy??? Drop JohnF a line - maybe it is a topic or maybe it is a state you have resources to share on an as needed basis.

 

May all of your holiday wishes come true - I'm personally asking for an 8 day week where the 8th day is for holing up and doing genealogy instead of wash, kids, etc.- Hey, I can hope!
