This month it is my great honor and pleasure to present the Pat on the Back award to Cheryl Lynn Mello (GFS CheriM). Cheri is one of those staff members that likes to jump in with both feet. She has taken the opportunity to take her Portuguese forum to the limits. She does not hesitate to try new things. She has been instrumental in setting up the Portuguese resource center. She has, along with others, created handouts and set up tables at Genealogical conferences. And has taken a leadership role in the running of the forum. I am proud to name GFS CheriM@aol.com to the prestigious Pat on the Back Award for February 2000.
