One of the great resources we have available to us in the United States and Canada are the passenger lists of the many ships that brought the immigrants to this side of the great oceans. These are far from a complete collection. All too many of the passenger lists were lost or destroyed but those that have survived until this day are invaluable to those of us trying to establish where our ancestors came from.
