Genealogy Forum NEWS'
WACKY ANCESTOR PHOTO CONTEST
Winning Entry!

Indiana beauty

Congrats to Jacquede!  She wins the grand prize, since her WACKY ancestor's photo was the popular favorite among the judges!

From: Jacquede@aol.com

Litha Olive McIntosh (isn't she a beauty? Now you know where I get my good looks!) was born February 9, 1850 in Daviess County Indiana. She married John William Liggett on August 5, 1877, as far as I know they had one child Pearl N. (Looks like her mother) and sometime after that Litha and John divorced and he headed for Michigan.

(Wonder why?)

The kind folks at Sierra Home provided the winning prize -- A copy of the new GENERATIONS GRANDE SUITE 15 CD set!  Jacquede was in attendance in the chat room of the announcement broadcast during GENERATIONS: Find Your Roots (Link Invalid - 2006) at Talkspot.com on September 29, 1999.  We delighted in visiting with her on the telephone.  UNKHiram (our wackiest genealogy columnist) helped with the presentation of the award!
