From: Watsmatau@aol.com Attached is a photograph of my great-great-great-great aunt Emiline Van Sise Whitney. She was born at the Van Sise Homestead in Woodbury, New York in 1814 to Jerimiah VAN SISE and Maria WHITE. She was married in September 1847 to Jessie Clausen WHITNEY, and died in 1864. Judging by other photographs that were taken in the same shoot, this appears to have been taken around 1860. Therefore, Emiline would have been 46 years old when this photo was taken. |
