We are proud to announce......the Grand Opening of the Genealogy Forum's Canadian Resource Area!!! The Canadian collection has been rebuilt with loads of new material (including Loyalist material!) and organized in a way that we hope will make everything easier to find and navigate.
Please join us on Sunday, August 2, from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern as we celebrate with all the hosts of TEAM CANADA in the Canadian chat rooms. Here is the announcement that GFS Chuck has placed in the Genealogy Forum's August Newsletter. Just between us, if you want a "sneak preview," stop by the Resource Center beginning on Friday, July 31st, and take a peek.

Cybercanapes and refreshments will be served. Not a calorie in a plateful. Visit each of the Canadian chat rooms and meet the hosts. Visit each of the areas of the new Resource Area which TEAM CANADA has prepared for your aid in researching your Canadian ancestors. There are hundreds of new websites, maps, articles, GEDCOMs and much more.

This promises to be a somewhat shortened version of the Loyalist Chat News. We still have LOTS to do before our big debut (and your Editor is also the programmer for TEAM CANADA...), so I hope you will forgive me and understand. After next weekend, once we are up and running, things will return to some semblance of order (she said hopefully)...and the Loyalist Chat News will get back on schedule.
