- Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives
ANLA is an advocacy group working to: provide a forum for those working with records of our past to discuss ideas and problems; promote professional standards, procedures and practices; provide continuing archival educational opportunities for its members and the general public; promote the role and use of archives; provide a network for archival cooperation throughout the province; coordinate projects of mutual interest among its members; represent the provincial archival community in the national archival system.- Canadian Archival Resources on the Internet

Items that can be borrowed (as long as they are not rare or fragile) include: books, periodicals, reports, newspapers in microform format, official publications (federal, provincial and some foreign), microforms of Canadian masters and doctoral theses, sound recordings, printed material about music including scores, children's literature, alternative format materials (such as audiocassettes, talking books) and library science literature.- National Library of Canada Services to Genealogists and Family Historians
