Ancestral Seasonings
The Family Banana Salad
Submitted by CNevi78299
It wouldn't be Christmas without this one! But it's a surprise the first time!!!
Beat 1 egg.
Pour in 1/4 cup cider vinegar.
Stir in 1/2 cup white sugar
Cook (watch carefully, it burns!) until thick. Cool to room temperature.
Quarter (lengthwise) 6 bananas.
Arrange on large plate/platter. Spoon on cooked sauce and spread a little.
Top with chopped walnuts.
Delicious! (The sauce is also used on Potato Salad!)
