This is an index for the "14500+ person" file, gedr6244, you'll find posted here. Before downloading the GEDCOM file you should download this index first and see if any familiar names appear.

This is the result of my family research over this past year. The file contains information on over 16,700 persons. It is a GEDCOM and can be imported by most genealogy programs. It was created using Reunion software (a program I LOVE) running on a Mac clone (Radius 81/110). The file was saved in the Ancestoral file format for Windows, so it should be usable by both IBM compats & Macs.

The GEDCOM and index were compressed using ZIPIT (for Mac). You will need an UNZIP type of software to expand them.

The GEDCOM will expand to around 2.6MB in size. Once imported into Reunion it takes over to 13.4MB of disk space (on my computer).
