This file is an update of the file "Cooke / McNeill / Hull posted on 5/13/96 in GEDCOM Library #4. File now contains approximately 600 individuals and 433 families and has information on Cooke's and McNeill's from County Leitrim and County Tyrone in Ireland. Many of family emigrated to the U.S.A. and Canada in the early 1900s. Extensive members of the McNeill side were living in the Philadelphia area in the 1960s and Cookes were living in Massachusetts and Canada. Some members of the family emigrated to Australia. Information on all would be welcome. The Hull branch of the family is still being traced and information on this side would be appreciated too. Two Hull sisters emigrated to Detroit probably in the 1920s.
