Nathan Wilson (1797- ca1860) migrated from N. C. to Claiborne Co. Tenn ca 1830. Children include John "Ringeye" Wilson (1834-1909) who settled in Jackson Co KY. (John "Ringeye" Wilson family photo is included in graphics file of this Genealogy library and can be downloaded.) John Wilson married Louisa Hurley. Their children include Nathan, Billy, Joseph, John M., Andrew Bishop, Margaret Montgomery, and Rachel Montgomery. Author is great grandson of Andrew Bishop Wilson (1876-1958) of Jackson Co. KY. Extensive Hurley data also included in this file. Andrew Pierce, a lawyer, died in Knox Co Tenn in 1922. He married Mary Pearl Bettis Williams. Their Children include Paul, Saul, and James Spessard (1901-1970). Bernard Nordhoff emigrated from Germany at the age of 10 and died in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1914. He married Agnes Frese also a German immigrant who died in the 1940's in Cin. Ohio. Their children include Marie Nordhoff Wolf and Helen Nordhoff Pierce (1908-1985).
