(I recently started having trouble with one of my hard drives so I decided to upload the latest copy of my family file. If the worst happens and the HD goes out completely at least all this research won't be lost.)

There is an index for this "16,700+ person" file available at gedr6044 so that you can determine whether this file will be helpful or not before downloading it.

This is the result of my family research over this past 1-1/2 years. The file contains information on over 16,700 persons. It is a GEDCOM and can be imported by most genealogy programs. It was created using Reunion software (a program I LOVE) running on a Mac clone (Radius 81/110). The file was saved in the Ancestral file format for MS-DOS, so it should be usable by both IBM compats & Macs.

The GEDCOM and index were compressed using ZIPIT (for Mac). You will need an UNZIP type of software to expand them.

The GEDCOM will expand to around 3.0MB in size. Once imported into Reunion it takes over to 15MB of disk space (on my computer).

There are several Ragan, Reagan, Ragin ... etc. families included that I've picked up during my research that, so far, don't seem to fit into my family branches (yet).

The GEDCOM was created with a PowerPC, Mac (clone) using Reunion software, exported for Windows->Ancestral file.
