I would like to be able to trace my family back further that 1900! I'm the great-grandson of Christopher Columbus Beshires or Boshirs from Chester Co.,TN., supposedly born in Hardin Co.,TN., somewhere close to Shiloh State Park. His death certificate says his mother is Margret "Peggy" Ann Roach and his father is Lewis Beshires. Another family record says that Lums pa and ma were John William Beshires and Martha Ann Pricilla Essery. The surname spelling is uncertain but I think it may have been Boshirs or Brashers, or any variation of these. I would greatly appreciate any help in solving this family road block.
