2 CONT I think, from talking to my mom, that this was the "Aunt Lucy" that
2 CONT grandpa Joe Thomas Branch always talked about. Joe Thomas said that
2 CONT she had red hair and traveled with them quite a bit.  This led me to
2 CONT think that she was a maiden aunt, never married. But, since she was a
2 CONT twin to Joe's father, this would probably have been a very close
2 CONT relationship.

2 CONT On the 1860 US census for district 6, Carroll County, TN., a Lucretia
2 CONT Branch, 21 years old, was shown to be living in a house with an Ann
2 CONT Branch and a Caty Branch. Caty was her mother, Kittie/Catharine
2 CONT Branch, age 55. So, I believe this to be Mary "Aunt Lucy" Branch.
