"Turner of Jasper Co., MS"
This GEDCOM file contains information on the Turner family of Jasper, Kemper and Lauderdale Cos., MS. The progenitor of this family is thought to have been John or Samuel Turner, but this has yet to be proven. Only the sons of this family are known, but it is believed that their mother was Sarah Turner who was born in VA in the 1780s. There was a connection between the TURNER family in PIKE CO., GA and the Mississippi group. What was that connection? Both groups used the name MILES G.
