"Denson Family of Anson Co., NC"

This GEDCOM file contains all know descendants of James Denson, b. abt 1710, prob. in VA, d. 1760, Anson Co., NC. It is believed that he was a son of James Denson and Sarah Dryton and a grandson of William and Francis Denson all of Isle of Wight and Nansemond Cos., VA.

At present Lois Nix and I are compiling a book on this family and should very much like to hear from those who have additions or corrections for us. The main focus of the book will be James' son's, James, descendants who removed from NC to SC, GA, AL, MS and TX. James, Jr. married Jemima White and had at least these known children: James, III, William, Joseph, Nathaniel, Shadrach and Jesse.
