Your commissioners in pursuance of the annexed order of the County Court of Cumberland having duly examined the several matters therein referred, forward the enclosed statement as the result for your further consideration.
Memo Executor Charles Lee in the foregoing acct. has given to the Estate of Charles Lee deceased a credit by James Thomas and Frances Deane for the sum of £199 14 9 1/2 & received of the said Deane in part payment of that sum sundry accounts upon other persons they being unable to make payment in any other mode among which said accounts was found after due means were used for collection, unable to pay two of the debtors to wit Amos Lipford for the sum of £10 19 5 1/2 no proof can be had of the delivering of the goods charged and William Adcocke for £11 16 11 1/2 insolvent which together with the sum of £20 5 6 short paid by the mess'rs Deans make the sum of £43 11 11 which said sum the Executor states he has used due diligence to obtain & has hitherto failed. It appears also upon further examination of said accounts that the sum of £31 12 was not taken into consideration upon division of the estate consequently now remains subject each legatee leaving his proportion of such delinquencies or insolvents as may finally appear.Yr.
