Benjamin Whitney.--July 6, 1872. Will.

Know all men by these presents that I, Benjamin Whitney of Fitchburg in the County of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, farmer, being in feeble health but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First, I hereby constitute and appoint my son Sydney Whitney to be sole executor of this my last will and testament.

Second I give devise and bequeath to my son Lysander Whitney five dollars to be paid out of my estate.

Third I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann Whitney twenty five dollars to be paid to her out of my estate.

Fourth I give devise and bequeath to my son John Whitney five dollars to be paid to him out of my estate.

Fifth I give devise and bequeath to my son Alonzo Whitney five dollars to be paid to him out of my estate.

Sixth I give devise and bequeath to my son Sydney Whitney all of the rest and residue of my personal estate after paying the above legacies.

In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the presence of the witnesses named below this sixth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Benjamin Whitney ae and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.
